Suitable collaborations

We consider relevant sponsored explainers, clearly identified partner resources and standing partner placements that are useful to readers and consistent with the publication's subject. A proposed placement should have a clear connection to local decisions, services, civic information, neighbourhoods or participation.

Clear labels, separate decisions

Sponsored and partner material is labelled plainly wherever it appears. Partner links may appear in standing placements, which are separate from editorial recommendations and do not imply endorsement. Partners cannot determine editorial conclusions, hide a commercial relationship or require coverage presented as independent.
